APARTMENTS — NA VYHLIDCE
The design of a new residential complex in South Moravia for a private developer, which we created in cooperation with the Swedish studio Semrén Månsson. There are more than 200 apartments with spacious balconies or loggias facing the common green courtyard.

URBANISM
The urban concept is inspired by the modern construction of Scandinavian eco-cities, which is based on block construction. This arrangement forms a uniform street line, which is directed towards the public space, and a partially protected inner block with greenery, which creates private (common) spaces for the owners of the apartment units. The human scale is very important, which is why the buildings alternately have 4 to 5 floors and terraced houses are designed on the south side, which respond to the future construction of family houses and at the same time allow a view from the apartment buildings.
ARCHITECTURE
The apartment building is based on the Swedish typology (lamellhus), which is very efficient (small ratio of public spaces to the floor area of the apartments) and allows different arrangements of apartment units (1kk to 4kk). The common living space (living room with dining room and kitchen) connects to a loggia or balcony in each apartment, which are oriented to a quiet courtyard with a view of the surroundings. The quality of living is underlined by the large glazing towards the courtyard (HS portals), where almost the entire facade is glazed in the terrace apartments on the top floor.
